 | Luce Shuts out Carolina Sunday, May 4th, 2014 In an almost effortless performance, Charles Luce of the Toreros shot down the Crush 8-0 on a 3-hit shutout. His skipper said, "Charles was just locating so well and using his pitches... not leaving anything over the plate." Luce recorded 8 strikeouts and 1 walk in a strong outing. In the postgame press conference, the Carolina manager said, "When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game like he can and we couldn't get a key hit off him." To this point in the season Luce has 5 wins and no losses and a 2.35 ERA. |   |
