 | Mustangs Chill Thornton's Hot Streak Friday, April 11th, 2014 Gordon Thornton of the Las Vegas Jokers came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 3 at-bats. That put a quick end to his 20-game hitting streak. To make matters even worse, Las Vegas dropped the game to the Mile High Mustangs 7-4. In a postgame comment Thornton told the press, "It was not a good day today. We lost the game and the streak is over." This year Thornton has hit at a .316 pace and produced 1 RBIs, no home runs and scored 5 runs. |   |
