It's Maurice Gould, this year's Thurman Munson League Cy Young Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance. Gould compiled a 24-4 record in 33 starts, tallied 316 strikeouts in 249 innings and recorded a 2.35 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .203 batting average against him. |   |
