 | Gould Holds Marauders Scoreless Friday, August 30th, 2013 In an outstanding mound performance, Maurice Gould of the Las Vegas Jokers scuttled the Maple Marauders 7-0 on a 1-hit shutout, ringing up 14 strikeouts and giving up no walks. "He's got great stuff and good movement," the Maple manager said after the game. "He threw a lot of breaking balls. He made adjustments. We just couldn't figure him out today." This season Gould has a 21-4 mark in 28 starts with a 2.28 ERA. He has given up 163 hits in 213 innings, struck out 270 and issued 26 walks. Opposing clubs have compiled a .207 batting average against him. |   |
