 | Tiller Named Top RCL Hurler Thursday, August 1st, 2013 Johnny Tiller has been around the league long enough to know that relievers are often overlooked. That has never stopped him from doing what he does best -- and he did it extremely well in July and stole away with the Roberto Clemente League Pitcher of the Month award. The Mountain Cats bullpen ace collected 5 saves and 25 strikeouts in 14.1 innings, holding the opposition to a .173 average and posting a 0.63 ERA and a 3-0 record. In 2013 Tiller has totaled 43 relief appearances, worked 47 innings, struck out 60 and issued 3 walks. He has 23 saves and fashioned a 1.91 ERA and a 5-3 won-lost mark. |   |
