 | Carranzo Selected Player of the Week Monday, June 10th, 2013 At the age of 26, Orlando Carranzo might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The Eureka right fielder put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .667 batting average. For his efforts Carranzo collected the Thurman Munson League Player of the Week Award. He racked up 12 hits in 18 at-bats, 4 home runs and 7 RBIs last week in 6 games. This year Carranzo has hit at a .323 pace and produced 34 RBIs, 11 home runs and scored 42 runs. |   |
