 | Bad News for Berserkers, Blanchard Injured Sunday, June 9th, 2013 The Minnesota Berserkers will have to make do without Peter Blanchard for 2 weeks. He suffered an oblique strain while running the bases in the game today against the Cabo San Lucas Toreros. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the first baseman. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." So far this year Blanchard has 19 home runs and a .381 batting average. |   |
