 | Fighters C Miyazaki Out Saturday, August 29th, 2015 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Seiryo Miyazaki of the Fighters knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles while running the bases. Because of a torn posterior cruciate ligament, the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham catcher is expected to miss 8-9 months. Miyazaki was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen." On the year Miyazaki has hit .246 with 7 home runs, 37 RBIs and scored 48 runs. |   |
