He batted .391 for the month and was voted the Pacific League Batter of the Month award. He banged 10 home runs, collected 23 RBIs, scored 17 times and put up a .487 on-base percentage. This season Tanaka is batting .343 with 34 hits and 13 home runs. He has scored 23 times and has 29 runs batted in. |   |
