 | CF Toin Iwata Hurt Wednesday, May 6th, 2015 After the end of today's game between Yokohama and Hiroshima Toyo, Toin Iwata skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after making a defensive play, the Bay Stars had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The center fielder will miss at least 9 months with a torn labrum. So far this season Iwata is batting .333 with 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored. He has 4 hits in 12 at-bats, 1 walk and a .385 OBP. Iwata has played in 5 games. |   |
