 | PL's Top Player Named Monday, June 30th, 2014 Pacific League pitchers tried and tried all week long to stop Tanyu Sasaki, but to no avail. His eyes would light up when he came to the plate and he hit everything in sight, batting .667 for the week to win the PL Player of the Week Award. The Fukuoka SoftBank left fielder cracked 12 hits in 18 at-bats, 1 home run, drove in 4 runs and scored 6 times.
