 | PL Player of the Week Awarded Monday, July 1st, 2013 So far in his young career, Kazuhiro Kojima has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Pacific League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 20-year-old Chiba Lotte Marines second baseman hit at a torrid .688 clip as he collected 11 hits in 16 at-bats, 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This season Kojima is hitting at a .367 pace with 6 home runs, 27 RBIs and has scored 57 times. |   |
