 | May's LBL Batter of Month Award Announced Sunday, June 1st, 2014 When Luc Martin stepped up to the plate in May, he did it with confidence and today he was honored with the Lester B. Person League Batter of the Month award. The young Trois-Rivieres left fielder posted a .490 batting average with 3 home runs, 24 RBIs and scored 30 runs. Martin also worked pitchers for 35 walks to post a .632 on-base percentage. For the season Martin is currently batting .445 with 3 home runs and 36 RBIs. In 52 games he has reached base at a .594 rate and scored 61 runs to date. |   |
