 | Dunn Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Saturday, April 21st, 2012 The North Carolina Tar Heels suffered a 4-3 setback today at the hands of the Ohio State Buckeyes at Ballpark of Bloomfield College, but their hot-hitting first baseman Shawn Dunn went 1-for-4 and stretched his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Shawn Dunn singled in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and grounded out in the 10th. In his stats this season, Dunn has posted a batting average of .382 with 34 hits in 89 at-bats, 5 home runs and 19 RBIs. He has also scored 20 runs, walked 7 times and compiled a .433 OBP. |   |
