 | Stanford's Callahan Suspended Monday, April 9th, 2012 The league commissioner has zero tolerance when it comes to touching an umpire. That's the reason Homer Callahan of the Cardinals has been given a 3-game suspension. He apparently made too much contact with the home plate umpire while intensely questioning a called strike in a recent game at Surfers Ballpark with the LSU Tigers. Callahan said he would not appeal and would serve his suspension beginning today. |   |
