 | Ortíz Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Tuesday, April 28th, 2015 Juan Ortíz's bat has been smoking lately as he went 3-for-4 in today's 4-3 triumph over Mississippi State at Ballpark of Shiprock College. The 21-year-old shortstop for the UCLA Bruins has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games. Juan Ortíz doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th and flied out in the 6th.
