 | Ruckus Reaps 5-Game Suspensions Saturday, May 17th, 2014 Tempers were flaring yesterday at Surfers Ballpark. Both the Cardinals and Wildcats were defending their turf. A few punches were thrown, but fortunately very few landed -- there was more wrestling than fighting. When the umpires sorted everything out, Stanford's Oualid Roger and Arizona's Nicholas Reid were ejected from the game. Today the league office suspended Roger and Reid for 5 games each. Currently Roger is batting .203 with 1 home run and 14 RBIs. This year Reid has worked 53.2 innings with 71 strikeouts en route to a 6-0 record and a 3.35 ERA. |   |
