 | Kun on Fire, Strikes out 15 Cougars Monday, May 5th, 2014 It was a very special game for Dae-ho Kun today at Sooners Ballpark in Texas A&M. He had the perfect delivery. The good fastball. The nasty curve. The batters mumbling and muttering when they swung and missed. And when he needed a strikeout, he got it. In an unforgettable performance the 20-year-old Kun fanned 15 strikeouts Cougars and sparked the Texas A&M Aggies to a 2-0 victory over Washington State. His catcher commented, "I don't think I have seen him throw better. His location and command were really something." In addition to his 15 strikeouts, Johnson allowed 5 hits and 1 walk in a superlative outing. His manager added, "It's a manager's day off when you get pitching like that." The Washington State skipper had no comment that was printable in the newspaper. This year Kun has compiled a 3-2 record with a 4.91 ERA. |   |
