 | Golden Eagles Chill Griffin's Hot Streak Saturday, May 18th, 2013 South Mississippi brought Matt Griffin's hitting spree to a screeching halt today in its 2-0 victory over Houston at Ballpark of Storm Lake College. The Golden Eagles mound staff snapped the 20-year-old second baseman's hitting streak at 22 games. Griffin failed to get a hit in 3 at-bats to end it. In his season totals Griffin has no home runs and a .282 batting average. |   |
