 | 5 Hits for Jayhawks Bruton Sunday, April 14th, 2013 The Kansas Jayhawks upended the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Castles Ballpark today in large part to center fielder Don Bruton, who had a smashing day with the bat -- he racked up 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and help propel the Jayhawks to a 14-7 victory. Don Bruton hit an RBI triple in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. So far this year Bruton has hit .273 with no home runs, 5 RBIs and 7 runs scored. |   |
