 | Coney Island's Grant BOL's Best Monday, July 30th, 2012 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Buck O'Neil League, but last week Rick Grant of the Coney Island Cyclones reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Grant rocked opposing pitching for a .545 average (12-22), no home runs and 3 RBIs to come away with the award. Grant is presently hitting at a .247 pace with 2 home runs, 25 RBIs and has scored 42 times. |   |
