 | Bethesda's Sparks Snaps up June Batting Award Sunday, July 1st, 2012 Dwayne Sparks, the Bethesda first baseman, had a productive month in June. He put up some solid numbers with a .351 batting average (39 for 111), 4 home runs, 20 RBIs and 26 runs scored. That standout offense earned him the August Herrman League Batter of the Month Trophy. This season Sparks is hitting at a .301 pace with 13 home runs, 62 RBIs and has scored 58 times. |   |
