 | Shannon Week's Best in BOL Monday, June 4th, 2012 So far in his young career, Ed Shannon has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Buck O'Neil League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Baltimore Blue Claws right fielder hit at a torrid .429 clip as he collected 9 hits in 21 at-bats, 3 home runs, 5 RBIs and 5 runs scored.
