 | BOL Awards Best Batter Prize to Márquez Monday, August 3rd, 2015 Angelito Márquez made quite a splash in the Buck O'Neil League this past week. The Baltimore Blue Claws third baseman drilled opposing pitchers for 13 hits in 23 at-bats to roll up a .565 batting average and the Buck O'Neil League Player of the Week Award. He also contributed 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 6 runs scored to his club's offensive attack. This year Márquez is hitting .250 with 8 home runs and 49 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .311 clip and scored 36 runs. |   |
