 | Dearborn's Wagner Gets AHL Player of the Week Monday, June 8th, 2015 The premier performer in the August Herrman League this week was Steve Wagner of the Dearborn Pioneers. The hot-hitting 24-year-old second baseman put up a .412 average and .500 on-base percentage, piling up 7 hits in 17 at-bats, 4 home runs, 13 RBIs and 5 runs scored. That kind of hitting got him the AHL Player of the Week honors. So far this year, Wagner is batting .286 with 9 home runs and 39 RBIs. |   |
