 | Houston's Flores Down with Injury Sunday, September 28th, 2014 Dealing with injuries is part of the game, and now Roberto Flores of the Sting knows this firsthand. He was injured against the Cherry Hill Stealers while throwing a pitch. Because of a bone spur in his elbow, the Houston starting pitcher is expected to miss 4-5 months. Flores was a little upset, but understands it comes with the territory. "Baseball can be a contact sport. You try to be careful, but no matter how careful you are, injuries happen."
So far this season Flores has 5 wins and 7 losses and a 4.04 ERA. | |
