 | Page Batters Houston for 5 Hits Saturday, September 20th, 2014 Nick Page really did a number on the Sting in the Dearborn 13-5 victory. Not just anyone can get 5 hits in 5 at-bats. But Nick Page did just that today for the Pioneers and gave his batting average a healthy boost and sparked his club in the win. "I felt real good in the batter's box today. I had confidence in my swing and knew that it was there and that I could get the job done," the 23-year-old shortstop said after his record-setting performance. Nick Page singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 5th and singled in the 8th. This season Page is swinging the bat at a .285 rate with 113 hits in 396 at-bats. To date he has hit 6 home runs, scored 55 runs and driven in 40. |   |
