 | Bums Medina Suffers Injury Monday, August 11th, 2014 Baseball can be a contact sport at times. It can exact a harsh toll on a player's body. In a recent game against Penzance Pirates, Bums starting pitcher Juan Medina was injured throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 4-5 months with a torn labrum. The team did not announce any roster moves today related to this injury. The Palm Beach skipper told BNN that personnel decisions would be announced as early as tomorrow. For the year Medina has a 5-5 record with a 2.66 ERA in 19 starts. |   |
