 | Peres Selected Player of the Week Monday, July 28th, 2014 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the August Herrman League, but last week Thierry Peres of the Dearborn Pioneers reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Peres rocked opposing pitching for a .450 average (9-20), 3 home runs and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. Thus far this season Peres is hitting .162 with 11 home runs, 31 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 46 hits in 284 at-bats and has played in 81 games. |   |
