 | Richardson Takes BOL's Best Bat Trophy Tuesday, July 1st, 2014 D.J. Richardson has a lot going for him. The Kingwood first baseman just broke into the majors this year and now the Buck O'Neil League has just picked him as its top hitter for June. In 24 games last month, this outstanding rookie batted .349 with 4 home runs, 21 RBIs and 16 runs scored. Richardson has collected 65 hits for the Knights this year, 8 of them home runs. He has also netted 41 RBIs and scored 35 runs while batting .270. |   |
