Domingo Venegas Sidelined for 9-10 Months
Saturday, September 21st, 2013
St. Paul starting pitcher Domingo Venegas left today's game with a torn ulnar collateral ligament. The injury looked like it occurred throwing a pitch in the game against New Orleans. One fan said, "As soon as it happened, you could tell something was wrong." The injury will likely leave the Saints without Venegas for about 9-10 months.

Currently Venegas has a record of 6-12 with 141 strikeouts and 50 walks in 145.2 innings and a 3.34 ERA.
