 | Chet Boyd Out of Action Sunday, May 12th, 2013 The San Angelo Mustangs will have to make do without Chet Boyd for 5 months. He suffered a torn rotator cuff while throwing a pitch in the game today against the Victoria Vikings. His teammates, understandably, were upset about losing the starting pitcher. "That's a tough break for him," one of them said. "But this team is resilient. We will just fill in until he gets back." In 8 starts this season Boyd has registered a 2-2 record and a 2.21 ERA. |   |
