 | Ford Frick League Names Top Player Monday, September 10th, 2012 So far in his young career, António Ramírez has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Ford Frick League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Murfreesboro Deacons shortstop hit at a torrid .452 clip as he collected 14 hits in 31 at-bats, no home runs, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored. So far this year Ramírez is batting .264 with no home runs. |   |
