Today at UFO Field the Phoenix shortstop really burned San Antonio pitching, going 5-for-5 in the Lights 7-6 triumph. "When he's seeing the ball well," his skipper told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Pancho Ramírez singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. So far this season Ramírez is batting .289 with 6 home runs. |   |
