 | Whitecaps Gardner Suffers Injury Friday, June 8th, 2012 Earlier today, Grand Haven reliever Ray Gardner had to leave the game against New York because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will miss 8-9 months of play. Gardner was hurt throwing a pitch and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. Gardner has 1 save this season with a won-lost record of 3-1 and 2.37 ERA. |   |
