 | Goebel Hurls Silicon Valley to Shutout Win Monday, April 30th, 2012 In a knockout performance, Leonard Goebel beat the Wolves 7-0 with an impressive 1-hit shutout. The Hackers hurler finished with 6 strikeouts and 2 walks. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. Goebel told reporters after the game, "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working... it don't get any better than this." The Wolves manager said, "It was a rough one for my guys. We weren't at our best... and their guy was." So far this season, Goebel has logged a 2-2 record with a 2.12 ERA. He has started 5 games, hurled 34 innings and registered 29 strikeouts and 12 walks. |   |
