 | FFL's Top Player, Yamamoto of Carson City Monday, August 24th, 2015 So far in his young career, Katsuhiko Yamamoto has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Ford Frick League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Carson City Mustang left fielder hit at a torrid .419 clip as he collected 13 hits in 31 at-bats, 4 home runs, 10 RBIs and 9 runs scored. Thus far this season in 119 games Yamamoto is batting .303 with 27 home runs, 92 RBIs and 89 runs scored. He has 142 hits in 469 at-bats. |   |
