 | Bad News for New York, Shawn MacDonald Hurt Monday, August 17th, 2015 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Ninjas when after today's game against the Snaps, the club found out they would be without the services of Shawn MacDonald for at least 4-5 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." MacDonald was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered shoulder inflammation. So far this season, MacDonald has compiled a 3-1 won-lost mark with 2 saves and a 4.72 ERA. In 47.2 innings he has fanned 30 and opponents are hitting him at a .316 clip. |   |
