 | Week's Best Player Honored by ACL Monday, August 3rd, 2015 26-year-old Norinaga Kondo made a few Asheville headlines during this past week as the rookie center fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and Alexander Cartwright League officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 17 hits in 27 at-bats to put up a .630 average. Kondo collected 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and scored 6 runs. A look at his current stats shows Kondo with a .281 average, 12 home runs, 62 RBIs and 64 runs scored. He has played in 101 games. |   |
