 | Wolverines SP Sheppard Out Friday, June 5th, 2015 Wayne Sheppard expressed his disappointment when he learned that a torn flexor tendon in his elbow would sideline him for 12 months. "I'll just spend a lot of time in the training room and hopefully speed up the healing process. Nobody likes to be out of the line-up," explained Sheppard. The starting pitcher got hurt in today's game with the Riverside Red Bulls. He was hurt throwing a pitch. Team officials had no comment on his roster replacement. Up to now Sheppard has recorded a record of 1-1. In 3 starts he has fanned 16 batters in 28.1 innings with a 2.54 ERA. |   |
