 | Week's Best Player Honored by ACL Monday, May 11th, 2015 So far in his young career, John Cook has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the Alexander Cartwright League in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 22-year-old Ottawa Outlaws first baseman hit at a torrid .481 clip as he collected 13 hits in 27 at-bats, 1 home run, 10 RBIs and 3 runs scored. This season Cook is batting .283 with 34 hits, 2 home runs, 18 RBIs, 16 walks, .372 OBP and has scored 12 runs. He has played in 31 games. |   |
