 | Isei Azuma Hurt, Out 4 Months Monday, September 8th, 2014 Injuries are something every team has to deal with. That fact struck home for the Spartans when after today's game against the Bulldogs, the club found out they would be without the services of Isei Azuma for at least 4 months. After the game, his manager said of the incident, "You hate to lose anyone to injury. That's always a negative." Azuma was injured earlier today throwing a pitch and suffered bone chips in his elbow. This season Azuma has compiled a 4-6 record with a 5.89 ERA in 17 starts. |   |
