 | August's Top Hurler is Schultz Monday, September 1st, 2014 The elite pitcher this past month in the Alexander Cartwright League was Howard Schultz of the Jacksonville Hellcats. He stood head and shoulders above the rest, finishing August with an extraordinary 4-0 record and a 2.49 ERA. The Hellcats star hurler made 6 starts and surrendered 35 hits in 43.1 innings. He struck out 53 and walked 9. Thus far this season Schultz has posted a 12-6 record, started 26 games, struck out 181 batters in 168.2 innings and compiled a 3.68 ERA. |   |
