 | Asheville's Dwight West Injured Friday, July 18th, 2014 Earlier today, Asheville starting pitcher Dwight West had to leave the game against Jacksonville because of an injury. Team officials are reporting that he has bone chips in his elbow and will miss 4-5 months of play. West was hurt throwing a pitch and was unable to continue playing. He will be evaluated this afternoon by team physicians. So far this year West has 3 wins and 5 losses and a 4.02 ERA. |   |
