 | Murfreesboro Starter Named FFL's Premier Pitcher Tuesday, July 1st, 2014 Gerald Lawrence has made fans throughout Double A take notice over the past month with an exceptional 4-0 record. No pitcher in the Ford Frick League threw better in June, garnering him the Pitcher of the Month award today. In 5 starts Lawrence compiled a 1.66 ERA, putting up a 4-0 record, striking out 35 and tossing 38 innings. To date this season Lawrence sports a 5-2 mark with a 4.03 ERA in 9 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .221 batting average and has 52 strikeouts in 60.1 innings. |   |
