 | Week's #1 Player: Asheville's Kamida Monday, June 9th, 2014 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Alexander Cartwright League, but last week Tatsuzo Kamida of the Asheville Tourists reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Kamida rocked opposing pitching for a .519 average (14-27), 2 home runs and 10 RBIs to come away with the award. This year Kamida has batted at a .289 pace with 66 hits, 14 home runs, 42 RBIs and scored 28 times. |   |
