"He was getting ahead of us and keeping the ball off the plate," said the Rock River manager. "Hopkins kept us confused the whole game." The Murfreesboro hurler rang up 7 strikeouts and issued no walks in his 7-0 shutout victory. In 11 starts this season Hopkins has notched a 6-2 record and a 2.88 ERA. |   |
