 | Brewer Holds Spokane Scoreless Tuesday, June 3rd, 2014 In an excellent mound performance, Melvin Brewer of the Cincinnati Snaps whitewashed the Spokane Bulldogs 6-0 on a 5-hitter. He said after the game, "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches." The Spokane manager said, "We just didn't swing the bats well today. Brewer did a good job keeping us guessing." In all, the Cincinnati hurler rang up 9 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout win. |   |
