 | FFL Player of the Week, Lyon of Carson City Monday, April 28th, 2014 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Ford Frick League, but last week Mitch Lyon of the Carson City Mustang reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Lyon rocked opposing pitching for a .444 average (8-18), 5 home runs and 10 RBIs to come away with the award. This season in 18 games, Lyon has hit at a .323 clip with 20 hits, 9 home runs, 26 RBIs and 21 runs scored. |   |
