 | Injury Takes Toll, James Battle Out Sunday, September 1st, 2013 Medical officials from the Jacksonville Hellcats reported that the club's 23-year-old starting pitcher, James Battle, suffered a torn labrum in yesterday's matchup against the Asheville Tourists while throwing a pitch. Battle is expected to miss 8 months of action. This season-to-date, Battle has fashioned a 11-3 mark and 2.58 ERA in 129 innings.
